    So who has gon S/C

I am thinking of going S/C on my 89i motor that is sitting in my basement. I was wondering if anyone could tell me if there is any management systems I need to run with a conservitive boost #, like 5-7psi. Also, what parts do I need besides the S/C and custom brackets?

    Thanks.

What about the guy that did the grassroots motorsports $2007 thing? He was supercharged.

He pulled off some amazing results too IIRC. Everyone seemed interested when he mentioned he could make more kits... I just figure people slowly realized what had to be sacrificed for that to happen.

Ya, he built it in one day or something. He had to move the alt. tho.

There are quite a few people who have done it to an m20. On of them is Steve 'tn325i' on BF.C. I believe he is using a m90 blower from a supercoupe t-bird IIRC.

I have been looking on e30 tech about thins and it seems like the hardest part is mounting the charger and getting it's air from the blower to the TB. It seems like there is no megasqirt involved because of the relativly low boost of the supercharger. Am I right?

most of the people i read on e30tech did use MS, or some sort of a/f tuner.

there are lot of setups that are close. I am working on designing my system. Im putting a bit more thought into than the others im not going to build a silly bracket out of angle iron. Im designing a non-intercooled system for now that puts an M90 onto a custom intake manifold exactly like Downing/Atlanta's system for the 318. Id love to run a intercooled system but thats going to be difficult and complicate things highly. If the 318 gained 60hp on their non-intercooled setup using probably an m62 i should be able to gain the same if not more with the larger supercharger and displacement of the M20. I am first working on getting an MS system. I am trying to figure out if i should get spark and fuel or just fuel control. once i figure that all out and get it hooked up and working ill start making the supercharger stuff. I suspect i can probably get the car supercharged including a new Megasquirt install and any dyno pull i do to check hp and such for under $1,500. I have a full machine shop so my fabrication and such is all free.

From my experience run fuel AND spark. My car ran 100X better with spark control. It is really easy to setup and lots of support on the forums to get it working right.

I saw this m90 and it has the bracket thing going on and its mouted where the a/c is or was...I have two SC off Tbirds and I'm trying to figure it myself. I may just sell them off and go TURBO?http://custom.autos.yahoo.com/galler...tart=10&sel=11

this inter cooler is small enough to maybe put next to the intake side
