    Turbo oil return line

So I bought a brass NPT 1/2" 90* to barbed clamp on hose end for my turbo oil return line fitting. I plan on tapping the oil pan and threading in the 1/2" NPT side to the oil pan with hi temp RTV on the threads then using 1/2" rubber transmission oil line, plumb the whole thing up to the turbo.

    Is this a decent Idea?

Where should I tap the oil pan to install the return?

Rubber will dry and crack. Go with silicone.

You should tap your oil pan where its above the oil line. Try to make it easy, dont pick a retarded spot to drill and tap.

    FWIW Im using 5/8" diameter.
