    Project Delay

There has been some delay in the project, fuel leaks! I developed a fuel leaks under the car on the drivers side in front of the rear wheel. It turned out to be a partially clogged fuel filter and a twenty year old dry rotted fuel line. We replaced the fuel line and the filter and the car is running even better! The engine is much more responsive to the throttle and accelerates quicker.

I am preparing to replace the passenger side rear axle and install M3 solid offset control arm bushings, due to age and wear. After these maintenance items are finished, I will get back to the supercharger install.

Thank you all for you kind considerate comments in the mean time

You should install some speed holes in it! Much better than a big ol wing!

    Speed Holes:
Holes you put in the hood of your car with a pickaxe to (supposedly) make it go faster. These holes may also be installed via sniper fire.

    Ned: Whatcha diddely-doin', neighbor?

Homer: Aw, putting speed holes in my car. Makes it go faster.

Ned: Is that so? Well, gee, maybe the old Flanders-mobile could use some

check out a awesome speed hole installation here!

Mine was the very first one he did way back when. The M90 thread mentioned earlier in this thread is my setup.. It has been in the other body since March and running strong.
Do you have any interest in reproducing your s/c mounting bracket? Is your m90 a t-bird unit?

The wing is bolted in to the frame of the trunk lid, the pressure form the wing is causing wear marks, where the trunk meets the rear of the body above the latch and tail lights, the trunk lid now has a permanent bow in it and the frame from the wind resistance. In the future, I hope to build a frame/cage in the trunk and mount the wing to it, making more effective use of the down force.

I was not criticizing the creator of Megasquirt, I just have not learned enough about it implementation! I understand these systems are complex and sometimes take a lot of work and fine tuning for each application.

I stated earlier, I am a Broadcast RF Engineer included in that work is a lot of analog and digital control equipment. I spend a lot of time working with relay controllers, digital/analog IC, and Control Scripting! We control our transmitter and satellite receivers this way, we measure filament amperage and plate current by computer, logging those readings and automatically adjusting power levels. I don't know if I am ready to get into my car that deeply yet! I love my work, but there are times I don't want to see any more control circuits!

just be diligent in your search and you wont be flamed. My biggest pet peeve is someone being too lazy to search and wanting other people to do the work for them.

It is not that I don't know where or how to search, it is a matter of finding the information I am looking for.

Good god I'm glad I stopped looking at relocating to Kentucky. Oh, and nice Accent. I had one for a year as a go to work car I bought for $55.00 + new thermostat.
