Alright guys. BOV vs Diverter valve.

From what I've red they do essentially the same thing, just the DV doesn't make the cool noise (which I am fine with).

The question is: Am I going to need a BOV if I already have a Diverter Valve?

If someone could explain the difference of the two to me a little more clearly that would be very much appreciated.

    Thanks guys.

if you are using a diverter valve it is to feed back into the intake (in front of the AFM) and if you are using a BOV is it in front of the AFM and can be vented to the atmosphere. Diverter valves allow you to not vent out metered air and are used in stock style applications (vw, volvo, sr20s i think). e30tech really is the place for turbo talk. Your situation depends on what management you will be using.
