WOW awesome, those things sound insane

Only thing i have to say is to export your videos in a different format, and try to de-interlace them, that's why there's those lines through the video constantly

Thanks for all the good comments!

J-tec: You are probably right, I have almost no vidcam experience, just uploaded them as raw files, because of time and group pressure from featured drivers :hitler:. I'll set off some time during the summer, when my car is not breaking down, to learn more about editing :D

BUT, there were someone who commented on the rattleing sound, and you were right. The crank bearing on cyl 5 was fucked up. It had startet to dig into the crank! This was due some poor bearing adjustment when it was assembled, and the improvised solution with Dremmel Multi hand grinding was only so good. But strangely the engine runned healty for at least 30-35 hour at almost full trottle.

We tought the sound was due to some exhaust leaks (witch it also was alot of), so the rattle we never cheched up more. But after a while the sound came harder, and especially between 3 -4000 rpm. Luckily we stopped before it made explosive damage, and only the cranck and new bearings had to be purchased. But as the S38B36 cranck is not ebay regulars he had to use a E34 M30B35 cranck (same stroke) with pre 1980 (i think) dubblechain assembly sprocket. I'm not 100% sure.

The car is now under a rebuild, with the engine sendt to the machine shop, and the car, more spesific the engine compartment -is modified slitghtly. The whole front is going to be build up to be "quick release"- front, where it can be disassembled in 10-15 min and make engine maitence childsplay. He also chopped up and reinforced the inner main structure (the right english word i dont know). The pictures will tell you. Sorry for all the smoke, his was terrorising the MIG that evening.

I've tried to talk him into at PT 67 turbo and more suitable pistons (now the engine has to low comp. ratio (7,1:1)) , but his mind (or his wallet?) refuses atm. I've also suggested some different designs for the pressure gate, downpipe and inlet manifold flow wise, but as the stabborn guy he is, and HATES 'mainstream', he will definetly not obey. But I'd made him convert his car witch in the start had a Eaton MP90 supercharger into turbo, in 3 weeks, so wonders can happen.

Thank you for bodering to read my drunken beat up poor english post :loco:

The car is not a showroom pleaser, but will wet your trousers on a narrow icy road at 100mph in the dark. Can easily scare of cocky brother and sisters in law.

At the dyno. Too bad the dyno couldt keep up to more than 0,6 bar / 442hp.

A old picture with the supercharger.
