I've been running my 3bar bosch stock fpr for 2.25 years through Vortech FPR's, 16 psi of boost, and all sorts of abuse, and it still works fine....

    Yes stock 3bar regulator.

Stock internals of the M42s wont take to boost to well either could be detonation.

Thats what M3Ryan said as well when I called him.

I already ordered the pump and I'll get the fuel filter as well.

Fuel filter? I used a walbro in my setup and they use these stupid little sump filters that get dirty and clogged really fast and caused my car to choke up and the afr's went lean around higher rpm/boost. Could be a problem.

Doesnt there have to be something sending a fuel pressure signal to the MS for that reading to be accurate? I didn't think there was a fuel pressure signal unless you added an aftermarket gauge sender.

that should be a immediate indicator.
if i were you, i'd replace the fuel filter while i was replacing the fuel pump. ;)

I had this problem when I first went MS, it turned out to be the overboost protection setting in the tune. I had it set too low so it would cut the spark out once the car reached full boost. Maybe your boost controller is letting your car overboost?

Whack the panel above the fuel pump a couple time with a rubber mallet when it starts falling on its face.

when my fuel pump died my car actually couldnt stay alive unless it was about 3000 rpm but it wouldnt even reach five.. oh i would have to say the biggest symptom i noticed is the rpm's would bounce around alot at idle by like 2-4 hundred rpms. and it got worse after being on brakes kinda hard

I'm pretty sure its the pump, just wanted to see if there were any other ideas.

No whine from the pump? Check fuel pressure?
