84 318i ignition control module

i bought this 84 318i, car had no wire harness so i found one online and ordered it the harness got the car to crank but no spark so i was thinking it could be related to the ignition control module but there was no plug only this circle one that is the only one close by what do i do?

I believe you have a harness for an M10 engine that was designed for the ignition module shown in the attached photo.
