I have a '68 2002.
Well, it was a 1600-2, and I blew that up, so now its got the 2.0L engine in it (with the 4.10 rear that the 1600 came with), and 25% more torque across the board really wakes things up.Leave a comment:

every thing swaps form a 318 to an 02...im not sure about the head. i did see an 02 at a junkyard one w an 83 head on it...but im not sure if the bottom end was out of a 318 or not. dizzys , headers , intakes ,exhuast all the same...
i would like an s14 but i have yet to fall in love with the m20, and i really dont know anything about m50s.

i was thinking about all the m10 blasting that goes on around here and i thought to myself...the average m10 sucks because it cant breath. once i took off the stock air filter and put on a straight pipe my m10s run like mad...
i think dollar for dollar the m10 is the cheapest bang for your buck bmw around... no chips needed... no cams (although im sure they help) just a k&n and get rid of the cat....
i am adding a turbo to my 02 and im sure it will take it to another level as well...
the fuel injection has been a pain on the 318i but im guessing its just because the wires are 25 years old....once i worked out the shorts it runs like mad...well enough to crack the stock header...
dont dump them ....just free up the breathing!Tags: None
