M10 replacement radiator - any aftermarket?

Looks like I have a crack at the upper hose on my radiator, weeping a bit of coolant. Ugh. New radiator time. Anyone make an aluminum radiator for the M10 318i?

does the M42 fit in terms of hoses lining up, etc? I'm on a short timeline with the first rallycross in 2 weeks, so don't have time to f-ck around with trying to find matching hoses and such!

any more details on "the S14 setup"? Information on M10 stuff is pretty sparse around the net for the e30 cars.

            Here's a cheap ebay unit.

M10 has the hoses on the same side correct?

nix, M10 has the upper hose on the left, and a filler cap with no expansion reservoir. Using a res with no filler cap makes it really hard to bleed an M10, since there is no bleed screw on the block.

A project I will do eventually, but with my current time restraints probably just gonna have to throw an M10 unit in. And all that seems to be out there is the OEM style ones. Oh well.

Drop a line to Marshall he goes by mlytle here and a few other sites. This is his S14 powered 02 has the style radiator you mention.

Edit: He's in your chapter of CCA and lives right next to you in Alexandria. Heck I lived just up the road from you as well in when I was at Belvoir. Have you been over to the 2002 guy at Manassas motorwerks?

thanks, will hit him up. I have a return balance at pelican so will probably just order an OEM Behr for the immediate use since it won't cost me much, but definitely want an aluminum one eventually, and the one in that pic looks to be the ticket. Thanks.

In that picture Marshall is running the IE aluminum radiator, not sure what he's running right at the moment, would definitely be a good local source for info.

Overflow isnt needed. Its a Dirt car and runs ONLY water on the track, after the first Heat race it will push out any expanded water and "find" its level, after one night I will know where it wants to run. OF COURSE, what ever is cheaper in this case IS better , If I save 50 bucks, thats 50 less to spend the next time someone spins in front of me and there bumper goes thru my rad.

wouldnt be the first time that has happened on the track.
