Plug the port on your Cold Start injector, plug the hole in your intake boot. Adjust your throttle stop on your throttle body to your desired idle RPM (This is the way I have interpreted, have not done it yet), throw ICV and hoses out

Plug holes associated with ICV hoses, then drill a very small hole in your throttle plate and slowly step up the bit size until desired idle speed is achieved.

this is how I did it. Worked great, idle is consistent and smooth.

make sure you don't drill with the TB on the car! Engine no likey metal shavings.

            1. Shitty IACV and ICM, which don't consistently work correctly. Why have crap on the car that is performing inconsistently?
            2. Eliminate three vac hoses, less vac leaks to worry about.
            3. ability to set the idle wherever you want to without using the spacer/washer trick inside the vac hose, but easily adjusted using the butterfly TB screw.
            4. eliminate one possible electrical component when diagnosing idle/performance problems. One less thing to wonder "is that the problem...?"
            5. only downside is that on a cold start you gotta give it a bit of throttle for a couple seconds else the car will stall on a cold morning. Not an issue when the engine is warm.
            6. becuz racekar.

I don't really see any downside to it, personally....

I am thinking of doing this next week sometime. Here are my questions.

1: What do I do with the plug that goes to the computer off of the ICV? 1a:Wont it be expecting some sort of info from the ICV?

2: How did you guys plug the 2 holes?

I zip-tied the plug so it doesn't fall down and melt on anything hot. To plug the cold start injector I used a rubber cap you can buy a kit of them in any Help! section at parts places. For the intake boot, I used a plastic plug from a new a/c compressor and glued it on.

Got it done. Very easy thing to do. Just as a reference for anyone in the future. Make sure you have a small flat head screw driver to adjust the throttle. The space is pretty crammed. Also, it is wise if your tachometer is actually marking correctly.

THANK YOU, for using the idle adjust screw, and not drilling the plate!! as a racer, that is what those screws are for!!!

Idk why one would drill a hole when there is a screw for the same purpose.
