I have an Innovate LM-2, and it has the capability of taking in wideband data, and outputting it to the ecu in a narrowband format. But I think I read that the m20 guys weren't having any luck with it. They also have the three wire sensors that the 85 l-jet systems have, so I was wondering if the l-jet ecu would also have problems. Anybody have experience or info on this?

Using an Innovate LM-2 to provide O2 signals

I found a graph of O2 sensor outputs in the Probst's "Bosh Fuel Injection and Engine Management" that I used for the LM-2 programmer, but it only allows two points to be entered, and the output is not linear. So I guess that's what the m20 guys didn't like.
Anyways, I'm still trying to figure out why it's so lean.

I don't think it's good for daily driving. The LM-2 shows quite a bit of fluxing while driving and I think it's because the output is linear, where the stock O2 sensor is not. Maybe someday innovate will come up with a software upgrade where you can add more points, or a function.
I used it to try and clear up my lean issue, which I'm pretty sure was the afm. It worked enough that I could see the system making corrections when I hooked up the LM-2 output to it, and it drove around ok. But I haven't gone back to the stock set up yet for a comparison by feel.
Personally, I would have another bung welded in for a wideband if I wanted to keep it installed.
