Id like to add some color on the engine. The intake manifold would look sweet in red. Valve cover would be bitchen if blue.

Personally, I like matching VC and intake manifolds best. It just balances right. Painted exhaust manifolds? Not for me, even more so when they're stock manifolds. That's just my 2 cents and I'm not going to tell you what to do and not to do. Good luck brotha!Comment

What color is your car? Matching the body color usually looks good.Comment

Here's my old vert circa '98 w/powdercoated valve cover and intake mani. The interior was cardinal, so I was kind of playing off that. I loved it, and it was super easy to keep clean. Just a quick wipe with a damp terry towel every other wash. Done.

ok, with real opinon.
paint the block and all cast iron stuff, a met dark blue.
have all cast alum polished to a high shine.
loom all your wiring harness with a matching colour of the block.
(if you have the time and money for that stuff, on race car, its loom the wire, paint the block, let the alum go!)
