    M10 to m20 radiator swap

Alright i've searched around and can't find much. Just a lot of off topic stuff.

I have an m20 radiator that is a year and a half old so i'm swapping it in with my m10.

    My question is with hoses.
The upper m10 radiator hose is not long enough to connect the water pump and m20 radiator.
Then the m20 upper radiator hose is not the right shape to connect them.

I'm ordering quite a few new hoses and was wondering if any of you used another engine hose, I just want a better fit and nicer look. No kinks or any of that.

How are you going to fill and bleed the system? The m10 fills and bleeds at the radiator cap. The m20 uses an overflow tank to fill and a screw on the thermostat housing to bleed. Seems like you're gonna have to do a lot of work just to reuse a radiator.

It's not really hard. I've seen a few threads taking about "T'ing" off a hose near the thermostat or just tapping a screw in it.
My dad ( a growing mechanic of 30 years+ ) see's no problem with it. The radiator has literally under 1000 miles. Timing belt snapped.

I'm just trying to see if people have found an upper hose that has the length-diameter- and shape. I know its been done.

        This is what I did.

You could just cut the upper hose and put an extension in it.

If you notice I am using the m20 expansion tank.

This is basically what i've decided on doing. Thanks for the post but I hate you. You totally started one of the best turbo m10 builds and stopped posting to it, I hope you kept it going on another site. If so send me the link! But seriously favorite build on an m10!

          What hoses did you purchase?

I was banned from here for a while, so it is more up to date here:

            Its not very well organized.

            Also this one is neat:

The hoses are just two samco 90* bends for the upper with a tube between them.
