Jerking/hesitation on accelerating. Need some help

I give it gas when cruising and she will sometimes jerk for a quick second and then continue to gain speed and if i dont let off it may happen 3 or 4 times before shifting at about 4500. Mostly occurs in higher gears, when accelerating hard. Doesnt occur when revving on idle or accelerating from a stop. New plugs, wires, cap and rotor. Thought it was dirty Injectors so they were just cleaned. Still occuring though. I feel like it has to do with fuel pump maybe or fuel related. Its only when under heavy load and at higher speeds where the most fuel would be needed. Any help appreciated

I've had similar jerking problems caused by timing and fuel. Check your timing and verify both of your fuel pumps are running. Consider changing your fuel filter if you haven't done so in a long time.

Ok will do. I've changed the fuel filter recently.

I am having similar issues. I don't have the ball on my flywheel since I swapped the e30 m10 into my e21. I will check the same. Thanks guys

I got the same problem. PO for mine said it could be the fuel pressure regulator. My guess is that the tank has rust in it and is clogging up the fuel filters...

check dist. timing.

they are easy to fuck with so people do it alot .

then to a good tune up on it (wire cap rotor coil ect)
