Ok guys, seeking some advice on where to start (no pun intended). I have an 84 318i and picked it up non running. I put a new battery in and jumped the starter and she fired right up!
However the key will do nothing to engage the starter. No click, nothing. So am I looking at the switch itself or is there something else I should look into?
It might need to be noted that the ecu has been replaced by the previous owner, I tried with the new and the old with the same results.
