Idle is driving me insane! 800-1,400rpms Please Help!

    1985 BMW 318i 5 Spd
My car seems to start up and idle perfect
2 minutes later and pretty much 9/10 stops the car revs from 800rpm to 1,400 over and over until I get back in gear and drive.

I noticed when shifting up to bring the rpm to 1,500 cruising before a stop it won't rev . Other wise driving in gear at 3,000 rpms and dropping to neutral it starts revving again no matter how long the stop.

Please help I've tried disconnecting the ICV and she just revs faster. Exact same rpm's just alot faster reving bouncing like crazy 800rpms to 1,400rpms . I can't figure out for the love of e30's what's causing this please help!

It's crystal clear I soaked it in gas overnights and out a pressure washer nosel directly in spraying for 2 minutes, still does the same

There is no c191 on the m10 318.

I fixed it with a penny that has a hole in it :) inlet valve of IDAC and she idles like butter at 800rpms.

I do now have to give he gas to get her to start but she idle perfect now

Check engine temp switch and or connections.

She seems to be fine just needs gas to start now but I also noticed when I let off the rpm in neutral she has a chance of dying as the rpm dip super low. She died on me once already
