How much does a complete m10b18 w/o tranny exhaust manifold and a/c compressor?

I thought I read somewhere that it was like 180lbs. I can't remember what all that had on it though.

I read that, too, but I have a hard time believing it. Perhaps that is just the long block with no manifolds or accessories.

I've also read fully dressed 4 cylinders of various makes can weigh in around 300 lb. Quite the descrepancy, I'd say!

I have a m10. When I had to replace the mounts I got on top of my car and was able to pick up the motor...

hehe I'm a newb, where is this bible? Sounds important. I'm a see-it-for-yourself kind of guy, I'd rather weigh it. That said, I am usually the one to play devil's advocate with everything, so don't let me bother ya. lol

I'll have the weight soon when I yank the m10 out.

i picked up and empty 2.0 block and id have to say it was prolly 90-100lbs.

my dad and i picked up a full 2.0 block (no head, no ps pump, no ac) and it wasnt all that heavy; prolly like 150lbs.

not really scientific and based solely on my ability to pick up things.
                ?
