Anybody have an M10 exhaust manifold?

So I broke an easy-out off in the bottom of the exhaust manifold on my 318, trying to get a stud out. Of course nothing I have will touch it, so I decide to pull the manifold and melt the easy-out with my welder, then drill/tap the welded section. Well the weld is harder than I expected, likely because it mixed with the nice easy-out steel. I'm in a bind, but I have a few options I'm considering.

    1) Cut the pipe near the cat and add flanges there - just bolt the remaining 3 studs back up and weld the original flanges together.

    2) replace the exhaust manifold

2 is obviously easier, but does anybody have a spare one lying around? I'm in MA. Not looking forward to shipping cast iron, but what can ya do?

Apparently there was an option 3 that I was unaware of. A friend has a cutting torch with which he instantly obliterated the hardened tap steel of the easy-out and left the cast iron intact! The threads are all still okay. Phew!
