Erratic behavior during smog test. Couldn't shift to 3rd
Hey All,
So something weird happened to me during a smog test. It was all going smooth until the 25mph part of the test. Shifting into 3rd causes the car to buck and loose power. Just some erratic behavior. Keep in mind the car drives fine on the road. What could cause this?
Car has new belts, distributor cap & rotor, valves adjusted. One thing though it looked like the wrong spark plugs were installed although it drove fine. I did order the new correct ones but not sure if that could have done it.
