316i touring m20 swap

Im taking a vacation and bringing home my 316 touring, I have an m20 waiting for me that I need to install when I get there.
I was wondering if there is anything different (other than coils and ecu) I should know about as far as compatibility or any tips about this swap.

It's a 6 cylinder swap, you'll need wiring, DME, mounts, etc. In theory the G240 behind the M40 will also work with the M20, but most people would swap a G260 instead, and I think, but don't know for sure that both ways of doing it will involve a different driveshaft front section at minimum.

There are also other small differences that may exist in coding plugs, the CEL (not there in Euro cars usually) and little things like radiator mounts.
