    Another no start problem...

OK guys I got an 1987 325i that yerk swap out all i parts (i asume to make a 327i stroker) and put all e parts on it. Now ii have put all i parts again, and heres the problem, it got spark it start when i put starting fluid on the intake but then stalls i'm getting no fuel, the injectors are not activating and the ICV is not buzzing i check the ecu and it has power and ground, the relays are good because i put them in another 325i and they work, all the sensor except the TPC are new but the TPC is working. I'M DESSPERD (pardon my english i'm latin) I NEED TO GET THE CAR RUNNIG IT HAS BEEN MORE THAN A YEAR WITH OUT USING IT HELP PLEASE ANY IDEA WILL BE APRECIATED

Spark would indicate that the DME has power and is getting timing reference data. If the injectors aren't firing I'd say the problem is in the engine harness or the DME. A lack of fuel pressure to the rail could be a bad pump, clogged filter, harness problem, or DME problem.

When given a basket case like this, every part of the engine management system is suspect. That includes the DME and engine harness. Make sure that you have the DME for an M20B25 and that the harness is good. If the car has the original harness, it won't have a C191 connector, but if the harness has been replaced it might. A problem with that connector can disable the injectors.

The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

If you don't have a Bentley, get one. It has a wonderful section on checking out the electronics. You just need a fused jumper wire and a multi-meter. You can do a ton of checks using just the main engine harness ECU connector. It's fun. You just jumper a couple of pins, and put the multi-meter on a couple of other pins and the fuel pump operates, injectors buzz, relays click, etc. You can test the CPS and other sensors too just by checking the resistance. It is also good in that you are checking the wiring harness while you do this because you aren't checking the stuff directly.

Update guys. I have check the wiring harness with a ohmmeter, is completely good so think of what jlevie said befor it may be the DME i check the fuel pump with a jumper and its working the fuel filter is new so this leaves the DME rigth? If is anything i should check please point it out? thanks
