Hello, I have a surging idle between 600 and 800 rpm when the engine is started cold. Once the vehicle is warmed up, the engine idles smooth at 700rpm but the engine still gallops enough (as if it has a performance cam) to cause the car to sway left to right when stopped at a traffic light. Anything above idle is fine. I’ve recently replaced the afm intake boot, ignition cap, rotor, coil, plugs and wires as part of a tune-up, and also had the afm rebuilt.
Any suggestions as to where to look for the issue would be much appreciated.
