Cooling system pressure test showed a leak in the heater core circuit so it’s being bypassed by plugging the hose from the t-stat and the one that goes to the back of the head. Don’t need heat that often here anyway…
Question is, would there be any issue with just eliminating the long hose from the thermostat housing and capping off the port at the t-stat housing? Seems like a better idea than leaving a long ass hose full of coolant that isn’t being used..
