    D'oHH!

I just stripped the bolt in oil pan plug. The half of it is in the pan, I really doesnt want go through hassle to remove the half of the plug. Its possible for me to just remove oil pan very slighty enough to remove gasket and plug then bolt them back up with new gasket without take whole thing out?

    Thanks for advice :)

i really doubt you're gonna be able to do that and to get that new gasket on is gonna be a bitch because of the pump..you're gonna need to remove the whole pan then imo

An easy out will remove the remains of the plug. If the threads in the pan are damaged, that can be fixed with a Timesert w/o dropping the pan.

threads in the pan is not damaged, the plug is broken in the half. i was thinking about dropping oil pan slightly and use magent to pull another half out. then figure out a way to get gasket around the pump..OH well, I guess Tomorrow will be dirty job for me.

            Thanks everyone tho

Assuming an OE drain plug, the part that is still in the pan is hollow and will accept an easy out. Try that before dropping the pan.

If you have to drop the pan you have two choices. You can support the engine and drop the subframe to gain access to the pan or you can disconnect the motor mounts and lift the engine.

                + 1 to what's been said.

Try to get it out, but if you can't, dicking around like you are thinking of doing is tougher than dropping the pan and fixing it on the bench.

nope I just found out that the half of the plug is still inside the pan but it havent fell off and its not loose in pan. I will just use my old plug and twisted it in then jb around that.

Then starting collecting stuffs for m50 swap. I have 3 months time-frame :)
