I had my head resurfaced and pressure checked then put the stock cam and rockers back in. Valves never came out. When I finally got it running it ran rough. Been driving like that for 2 weeks. Finally did a compression test after swapping everything else out. #4 =0 pulled the valve cover and the intake rocker arm broke on the cam side.
I'm pulling the motor to swap the tranny and rocker arm now.
I never heard it break. I have had one break on another m20 it was loud. So I don't know what happened but I am replacing just the one.
