I pretty much called it quits on my eta after i came back from vacation and it would't run right. Eventhough when i parked it, it ran fine. But it would blow out some smoke (oil) when i started it up before i left. But that did stop two days before i went on vacation. Why it stopped i smoking all the sudden i don't have a clue.
Here's the deal, #2 and #5 cylinders are on the fritz. If i pull the plug wires off of them the idle will not change along with unpluging the injectors. But if i pull them off of any other cyl's the idle will change and the motor will try to die. It has around 120psi of compression across the board. It is getting juice to the injectors, it is getting fire at the plugs, and with a vacume gauge hooked up, the gauge is nice and steady.
I've changed the plugs, cap and rotor, injectors, and CPS's. With no signs of any changes. At idle it has a very slight miss and will sit there and run all day. When i give it gas, it starts to miss like crazy. It is not blowing out any oil or running rich in the pipes.
Sorry to have so much down. But i tried to cover all bases that will be asked.
