Car bogs down when it hits 2k rpm's

I have a 92 cabbie 5 speed m20. When I started the car up this morning it ran fine. I have recently replace spark plugs, distributor cap/rotor, t-stat, oil, and oil filter. Even with all this done, once the car get used throughout the day it seems to drive good while taking off in first but throughout all the gears it seems like I am hitting the rev limiter at 2k rpms. It happened a week ago and I figured I would replace the plugs and disto cap/rotor. Tried it the next day after replacing it ran fine. Now today after I replace the t-stat, oil, filter it does it to me again. Feels like redline has decided to go down to 2k. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance,
    Jeff

Does it happen when the car is cold or when you drive it for a while and it warms up?

Have you checked out how much pressure your fuel pump is putting out? Could also be your collant temo sensor on the thermostat housing..
