Its been running fine for her for 2 days now. I think I may take a 2-3 hour drive tomorrow to be sure it will make it the 7 hour drive to Orlando next month.

And it is still running good, actually, after I changed the fuel pump it idled a little smoother. I filled it up with gas and I am sending the wife out to go tanning now, so we will see when she gets back!

Well, I replaced the fuel pump and filled the tank. Also replaced the DME relay and fuel pump relay and so far so good. I am STILL waiting on the TPS to arrive, even though it was ordered before the filter, relays and pump. I will have the wife take it work tomorrow and see if the problem comes back. It seems to act up when she drives it, it must not like her. LOL!

I was thinking TPS and coolant sensor. Did you ever OHM out the TPS?

it sounds like a crank sensor to me... a TPS isn't going to give you an RPM limit, but a bad crank sensor can.

Just to clarify, the car will run and drive fine......as long as I dont go over 1900 rpm's.

Could the TPS cause all that?
