ID:	7211884Just Finished painting my valve cover with the Harley wrinkle paint. I know, I know--there's a few threads re this already, but instead of pissing off my wife and stinking up the kitchen by using the oven, I just took the electric griddle out to the garage and used it to heat up the cover. Set it to 300 deg., let the cover get nice and warm, switched it back and forth with oven mitts to my "spray booth" (a bench with a couple of 2x4's set on their sides) for each of three coats and it's been cookin' at 200 deg. for an hour or so. Just going to let it cure overnight and sand off the raised portion tomorrow. The good part is, NO real fumes at all since I let the cover sit for a day to drip all the oil off and it's not enclosed in an oven.

    Here's how the texture turned out, since there doesn't seem to be any clear pics of this in the posts:

      looks good i like the the texture, i recently did mine cast coat iron color from dupi color i wish i could found this color in that texture though:up:
