E36 radiator mounting bracket?

I feel like this is going to be a stupid question so bear with me. I got a mishimoto all alum radiator, but they are e36 style. Which drops in fine since my is a 90 cab. The problem comes the bracket on top, it pushes out the radiator about half a inch and it doesnt mount flush. Did I miss something? is the moutning bracket for e36 thinner?

anyone have experience please point me in the right direction.

Worked fine on mine, might of been slightly taller so the bracket is slightly angled up.
