HELP!!!! car is cranking but wont start

    Parts i just changed

    Headw/ all the goodies

    all belts

    all seals

    water pump

    hoeses

    thermastat

    Timing belt

    Issue

I did a spark plug test, but the spark is not that strong. Gas is getting to the plugs, so i dont think its a gas issue.

Maybe the Coil is bad? , and if so how many volts are suppose to go to the coil. Is it the other way around?

Using an Ohmmeter, measure the primary resistance between the 2 outside leads, L-jetronic should be around .82, Motronic should be around .50.
Measure the secondary resistance between the (-) lead and the output lead, it should measure 8250 for L-jetronic and 5000-6000 for motronic.

make sure the CPS and the connector next to it aren't switched. They are next to the head, on the driver's side front, next to the diagnostic plug. They are interchahgeale connectors, and will keep the engine from running. switch the plugs and see if that does the trick.

how many times have you changed a timing belt? That would be one of the first things to check
