OBC Code does not work after engine swap.

    I have a 1988 325i with an 1987 engine.
To make the engine start, I had to run a wire from ignition + to the green wire on the 3-pin connector (engine side) located above the glovebox.

This bypasses the code function on my OBC, so I want to connect this wire through the OBC.

The 1988 engine didn“t have the 3-pin connector, therefore i guess that the wire im looking for is located in the engine connector. (C101)

Does anybody know what wire to use?
Does the green wire on the 3-pin connector need +12V only when starting, or all the time?

That wire provides the Start signal to the DME and normally comes from the code relay, as I recall.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
