I cant bleed my cooling system.....

I followed everything regarding the proper way to bleed the system but the coolant reservoir still pushing water out eventhough the beed screw doesn't push anymore bubble out.It doesn't suck in water it keeps pushing it out.I just installed a new thermostat a afan clutch cause my car was overheating when idling and running cold @ high speed.
I turned off the engine, let it cool down then it sucks in the water in the reservoir.I bled my 330I before where, when you have the bleeder open the level on the tank goes down and you have to pour water in but this car keeps pushing it out via the reservoir.
Do you guys have an insight as far as the cause of this?

Hold the reservoir up in the air as you pour water in. As long as it's the highest point in the system, the air will bleed itself out.

I like this site. You,guys, are prompt with helping fellow enthousiasts.
It seems like I can't only add water when the car cools down.I just had to add over a gallon of water.

ok dude, are you sure the is pre warmd? anyways do this. drain from the rad. fill the rad with new coolant, run for 5 mins, turn off, drain. then fill up . run teh car for 5 mins with the cap open, this is to let all the air out. you have to watch the coolant as it goes down, you want to keep toping it off. if you feel like you did good , go drive around for 10mins , stop make sure the hose's are holding good pressure. open the rad cap one more time, if the coolant is still at the top then ur good, oh yea dont forget to fill ur coolant res tank. pretty easy job just takes time

sound like you put the thermostat in upside down. or not pointing up.

In the reservoir cap there are two hoses.1 goes to the radiator and the order one is not connected to anything.
                Is that normal?

How can it be upside down?

when you put it in, did you look on the thermostat, it has a arrow. That arrow has to point up towards the bleeder screw. If you didnt bother checking, it may very well be upside down.

yes one goes to the tank, the other is the over flow, it just sits there connected to nothing.

I got it but its still running hot @ idle but as soon as I rev it while stationary the temp goes down.

when you rev it, it increases engine fan speed since its a clutch fan, so naturally it'll be more air flow and cools it down. So if you are sitting still, your aux fan should kick in when it hits a certain temp (the one in front of the condensor). You need to check your aux fan temp sensor located top right of your radiator and you actual aux fan.

do you have a fan cowl?

I just got it looked at by a mechanic. It seems the fan clutch that i just bought used here from a fellow member is worse than the one i took off the car.
Why would people knowingly sell broken stuff while claiming it's in perfect running condition? To me that's robbing other people of their hard earned money.
