    few questions for 85 m20b27 swap into 87 325e

ok so i'm nearing completion of installing my 85e motor into my 87e car, and i'm discovering the little diffrences in the years and wasd looking for some input, and yes i have searched and some questions still remain.

well i have figured out the early harness wont work with my 87 when i went to plug in the fuse box connector and found it non existant on the 85 harness, so that leads me to belive the may be a few more diffences between the motors sensor setups.

first of all fuel rail and injectors, i searched around a bit and read something about the 87 and later cars have different injectors low impedence as opposed to the early high impedence injectors, can anyone confirm this? will i have to use the 87 rail and injectors with my 87 harness?

also one of the coolent sensors, the one closest to the fuel rail is touching the fuel rail, why this is i dont know, the rail is from the 85 and the sensor i installed is from the 87 and it is hitting the rail making it impossible to attach the conector, any input on that?

finaly coolent system hoses do not seem to be the same from 85 to the 87 i'm running the 87 hoses but wanted to be sure this wouldnt be a problem with the 85 motor because i am useing the 85 thermostat houseing.

also if anyone knows any other diffrences or problems i may run into any additional info would be greatly appreciated.

and on a side note yes this is my frist post, but no i am not new to e30's so thanks in advanced guys:up:
