    FPR Issues (please HELP)

Ok so Ive got all the Motronic 1.3 stuff in but my car wont start. I have spark, it's timed right, i have fuel at the supply hose but nothing coming out of the injectors, and no fuel in the return line. Im thinking my FPR is bad. Correct?

do you have power to the fuel pump, fuel coming from the supply hose when u crank the engine?

pull the vacuum line from the fpr to the intake and see if theres fuel coming from it or if it smells like fuel. if it does, replace your fpr

There is no fuel coming out of the vac line. There is power at the pump, there is fuel coming out of the fuel supply. There is no fuel in the rail or in the fuel return line. The FPR sat for a long time, so im pretty sure its bad. It just seems wierd that NO fuel would be getting through to the rail.

sorry if this is stupid but this is the only thing I can think why it would do this.
You have the feed line going to the back of the fuel rail(opposite from where the fpr is)correct and the fpr is on the front of the rail and the return line is on the fpr going back to the tank correct? the only thing that I can think of is that you have them reversed.
feed goes str8 to the fuel rail and the return is in line with the return line so it can restrict and regulate the pressure in the rail

Hmm.....I going to feel pretty retarded if this is what's wrong. I wasn't really paying attention to how the lines were hooked up when I removed the 1.3 stuff, and the "e" fuel rail is different. Ill check this tomorrow.

IIRC, the only thing different on the ETA fuel rail is the FPR and the injectors.

the feed line is on the back side of the "e" rail
