    spitting too much game

    oh heyyy yall

aight so i need some help with my buds 87 325. hes letting me borrow it while my mark 3 is sitting turbo-less at the moment. but sadly, its acting up on me, and i dont feel right returning it to him without at least attempting to fix it

    so heres the prognosis

car spits and bogs under anything more then half throttle, gets worse as it warms up. will not go over 4k on the tach, and when you floor it in gear, it will basically just coast, spitting and a slight backfire. if you do this in neutral it'll drop down to idle speed and do the same spitting and backfiring as it did in gear

so any ideas guys? like i said id like to get it back to him in tact to repay him for letting me use it

    thanks ;)

no pics of his car for clicks, so my e30 will have to suffice

      CE light on?

Got another car to swap parts with? If so, swap the AFM.

There is no such thing as spitting too much game, sir. Sounds like it's not running on all of the cylinders.

yeah, no swappie on the ETA motor.

Find another ETA to swap with.

Maybe pop the distributor cap off and take a look?

I would start off by unpluging the ECU for about 30 minutes. Check for a vac leak, fuel pressure, afm(like stated above), and tell us the results =]
