swap in the b25 into my eta or go 2.7i?

I already have the b25 swap complete with everything you need. Would it be worth it to spend a little time to put the b25 head on the eta bottom end? or just swap in the b25? Since this is going to be a daily while I swap in a built 1.8t into my audi, I don't want too many headaches along the way.

I just want to confirm that an eta bottom end with stock eta pistons and a 1.3 motoric system with I head swap nets postive results. I know i'll probably lose a bit or torque with the low compression ratio, but will I lose power over a straight eta or straight m20b25 swap?

just swap in the b25 now. i say that "2.7i" setup (stock eta bottom + i top) will be worse than stock b25 for a few reasons. people disagree though. you say you want simple so theres another reason to just swap in the b25.

The 2.7i swap lands you somewhere between an "I" and ETA enigne. It just depends on your future plans for the engine and how far you want to dig into pulling everything.
