    E-to-I it mani swap..boot question???

First of all Super-Eta, 885 head (obviously) so the ports are the same size.

According to realoem, the seta and 2.5 use the same ICV
http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...97&hg=13&fg=15 (<seta), and the 325i http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...97&hg=13&fg=15 showing the extra outlet for the later booster hose setup.
I'm pretty sure this(13711708800) is the correct boot, can someone verify. I will be using the later style dual vacuum hose booster setup. One question, the SMALL short braided vacuum hose coming off of the one way valve, do I need ported or manifold(before or after TB) vacuum for this one???
And how hard is it to change the booster with the Manifold on the car?? Just curious........and anything else I should be aware of???
    Injectors...Seta and 2.5i...same or different??

injectors are different, fpr are different. Seta are still the low imp injectors. You need I injectors. FPR is 3 bar for 325i Seta are still the 2.5 bar. You want the 325i boot. 13711726325, the 8800 part number is the same one, you just have a discontinue part number. dont know which valve, or booster, never tried it when teh manifold on. If you need Injectors, or FPR I have a set sitting around.LMk.

yun...I am staying SETA everything else for now, swapping JUST the manifold so I can't just swap inj on the eta ecu like that...if I put different impedance inj on the current ecu, bad things are sure to happen. I will be swapping over the injectors and FPR from the ETA to the I manifold. I will have a multimeter monitoring air-fuel/o2 voltage after the swap, make sure things don't go too lean. If i'm in serious need of more fuel, i'll throw in a 3bar regulator. If i'm in good shape, I have an extra airbox I may cut up for shits & giggles. And thanks again for the part # info......

I didnt read your post very well, I thought you were doing a whole i top end swap :P silly me. But if you need a i harness I have one of those too. haha and a ecu as well. But you'll still need springs and cam to make it work.

Yeah I know....but I love the ETA tq, driveability, and fuel economy. All 3 are very important to me here in Germany. Having to not shift out of 3rd gear for traffic circles and 30km/h(20mph) around-town-driving is priceless. Plus it uses no more than 9-9.5L/100km(city/hwy) no matter how hard I drive it, ya can't beat that. So unless I get a M/S/50/52, the Eta stays right where it is. Plus I have a 325i FW to be lightened and installed.....

MikeDE, did you get this installed and running? I've been told an i intake on an otherwise all-seta motor is a waste, but the proof is in the pudding, not opinions.
