emergency diagnosis, severe loss of power

so all of a sudden my car has no power and it sounds like im at WOT all the time. the throughty sound from the intake is really loud, it idles and starts up just fine. could this be a sensor problem? the AFM went bad? the exhaust smells uber friggin rich also, idk though. it also runs hotter than normal, but not overheating.

if it was a massive intake leak it probably wouldn't idle fine. AFM?

also it wont rev over 5k, and my idle went to shit. that black solonoid thig that goes from right before the TB to right after it is makin a buzzing noise.

That's the idle air control valve, and the buzzing is normal.

clogged cat. cut the exhaust right before it (its got a one peice exhaust for some reason) and it was back to its old self, except being STUPID loud of course. lol

precisely. i think i bottomed out and it destroyed th innards of the cat. it happened so suddenly i assumed it was a sensor of something that went out. ~20 chunks of cat fell out when i inverted the exhaust. looks like im gonna be runnin a hollowed cat for a while. lol
