    M20 Valve Seal Replacement

Anyone do it with the head in place? I understand that you can do it using an air compressor, but do you have to remove the rocker arms/ rails? Can you work around them?

yes, rockers, rocker shafts, springs have to come off. It is best if you just pull the head off.

You really want to pull the head to do this. Getting the rocker arm shafts out with the head in the car is difficult.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
