Long start, like around 5 to 6 seconds of cranking. Puff or black smoke when it finaly starts up. New in the last 500 miles: fuel pressure regulator, plugs, wires, coil, AFM, all vacuum, intake manifold gaskets, fuel filter, all fuel lines, tested both pumps(good), new relays, coolant tenp sensor, pulled and cleaned fuel rail and injectors and valve adjustment. I cleaned teh IAC, should I spray a little oil in there to make sure it is gliding smooth? I need more idea. I did a PIN out test according to Bentley and everything came back fine. Runs fine when it starts, just hate the long start. Dinan computer chip is the only engine mod. Ideas?

Long Start with a little black Smoke?

I did the injectors, leak down and compression fine. the black smoke is unburnt fuel. Could the injectors leak so bad that it woudl cause flooding? The reason I think that is because when the cra sits for more than a day and the fuel pressure backs off the car starts right up, as the fuel has evaporated."Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery." - Winston Churchill
