    Charcoal Canister Purge Valve

I know there is a line from the fuel tank to the charcoal canister and from the canister there is an elctronic purge valve........the only thing is that there is just a loose hose from the valve. The valve is connected to the charcoal canister, but the valve is connected to nothing just a hose coming from it......can someone please tell me where the valve connects to? Or is supposed to just release into the open?

feel under the TB, close to the manifold, at the very bottem. It's kinda hard to, but w/o it connected you'll have a nasty vaccum leak and some gassy smells...
