Make sure that the TPS is connected and that the idle switch closes when the throttle stop is .020-.060" off the stop screw. Hearing the click isn't sufficient, you jave to check the switch with an ohmmeter or test light.
If not the TPS, the problem is most likely to be an intake leak.

headgasket complete: car wont run
I just finished doin a head gasket on my m20b25, everything is put back together and the car wont run.
Car starts up and than the revs jump and the car dies. You can keep the car alive with a little throttle.
Im thinking it could be a fuel problem or maybe a vacumm leak, maybe even a tps. I swapped the ICV, but no luck.
Do you guys have any suggestions on what to check? Thanks...
