Coolant Leak...Help

i had a coolant leak on my throttle body and i was losing a lot of coolant. it was the gasket on the throttle body. fixed that added a gallon of coolant and was on my way. then today i checked it again and it was low. so i added some coolant and it took another gallon. i thought thats to low. so i got under the car and started looking and noticed it had a steady drip from the front of the engine. what would this be from? the water pump, or the the gasket, or a hose. i haven't been able to look good because i am at college.

Could be the pump, thermostat housing, or any of the hose at the front of the engine.

i found out it was the water pump so i bought one today and started to put in on i didn't get the timing belt becasue it was replaced about 4 years ago and wasn't drove much for over half a year. i have to say it is the biggest pain in the ass if you don't have the right tools. i am trying to do this in the parking lot at my apartment because i am at college. it has been one upset after the other. i will be so glad when this is over!!! any advice? it is greatly appreciated

if at all possible...anytime you replace the water pump you should replace the timing belt just cause youve already got the front of the motor apart...4 years seems kinda long too. when you got the belt off, make marks on the cam gear and a mark on the head so you dont lose track of top dead center, also do this on the crank. everything else is just takin shit apart and puttin it back together could take you a few hours if youve never done it before. good luck!

it is black i uploaded a profile pic today look and tell me what u think. i would replace the timing belt if i had the money i know it's important and something to not skimp on my mom found that out the hard way when she had to replace all her valves, but i cant right now. i plan on doing it in a couple of months though. my water pump didn't take a complete crap on me it just started leaking. the funny thing is it happened the same day i fixed my throttle body coolant leak
