tell me why it ran fine today. strong for about 3 miles. i take it around the block 5 or so times then about a 2 miles to my friends house. he gets in and i start to back out and when i go to shift back into first it cuts out! anyone have any idea what the hell is wrong?!

could the light inside the glove box be at all the problem? the hookup goes into the harness and I had it unplugged because I couldn't get the light off and it was draining the battery. but yesterday when i hooked it up the car seemed fine, no shaky idel, no getting stuck on 3k.
