Hose specs please.

I was redoing a lot of my cooling system and took out the thermostat to throttle body hose. Could someone tell me the specs on the diameter and such??

I threw it out thinking it'd be easy, but my 3/8's hose I stuck on there was incredibly hard to get on and still leaks.

You really need an OE hose for that. It is pre-bent and thus won't kink where it comes off the thermostat housing. 3/8" hose will work, although it will be hard to get on. But it shouldn't leak unless the nipples are badly damaged by corrosion (a common occurrance). If the nipples are in bad shape new parts will be needed.
