Chip opinions

So I've been seeing a few threads lately about Mark D chips and for as long as I can remember, people have said they're basically the best M20 chips, which should be a good thing.

I'm just curious if my engine is a freak of nature or if maybe I got a bad burn or something else?

I've got a Mark D chip and the Ford 19lb injectors and felt no difference from stock aside from the increased redline.

Anyone else have a Mark D chip? Are you satisfied with the results?

The car in question is an 88 325is.

yeah the difference is not night and day, that's for sure honestly there just isnt that much room for improvement, I have the same mods and I was expecting a noticeable difference, none had oh well start saving for the s52

Yeah, everything I've read says that M20's really don't have any room for improvement. Yet everyone with a Mark D chip and 19 lb injectors that I've spoken to said it was a night and day difference.

I'm probably just gonna yank the injectors and chip and put em up for sale. :(

I'd swap to 17lb M50 injectors.
