ok there is a three prong plug, I need to know which wires goes where. one wire is green and black, second one is black and last one is brown and black where do they go please help?

Hey there.
The best and simplest solution is to source another sending unit from the scrap yard. Then find a pigtail end that is not all broken apart, cut it off about 6" back and simply splice it into your harness.
Then it will all plug in exactly as it was meant to.
Alternatively you could search for the wire diagrams for your vehicle and look up the wire colors and pin orientation.

its marked right on it, what are you hooking it up to? if your trying to hook up AUX fans, that wont work, and there is a WAY easier way
