These springs are impractical in anything other than a short life drag race engine as they have a very short life span (10-20 1/4 mile passes). So if your heart is set on titanium valve springs then buy lots of them because you'll be changing them after every trip to the grocery store."The bitterness of poor quality lingers long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten"

Titanium valve spring retainers are bad to use as is, they have cracked on a couple engine ive seen them on just from daily use, there great, but brittle. They dont have the give that steel does. I couldnt see why anyone building a motor they would drive on the street would use titanium in anything that was being compressed or slide againest. (I know titanium connecting rods are great but those are connected to the crank and pistons and dont have the same wear and loads as springs)
