    fan and clutch help

im trying to remove the fan from the water pump pulley on my eta m20, i read the bentley manual on how to remove it and tried, i still cant get it to come off, i know its a reverse thread, and i dont have any special tools to remove it, just the usual wrenches. and i also dont have the belt on the pulley. if someone could shed some light on my problem that would be great.

    thanks!

i put a 10mm wrench on one of the pulley bolts and turned it till it hit something on the drivers side and put a wrench on the fan nut and hit it with a hammer real quick to break it loose, then u can just spin it off. i think it was a 23 or a 27mm cant remember but you get the idea

thanks man, i will do that tomorrow, i dont have to worry about any clearance issues since the whole engine and car is tore apart except for the fan. and the reason why i didnt want to just take the pulley off is because im trying to part out my car and i didnt want to sell the fan with the pulley attached.

          thanks
